DATABASE OVERVIEW

The CLEER database is built from three main building blocks:

1. Greenlit journals

Five journals were identified by experts in a Delphi study (see Curation Criteria) as containing consistently high-quality resources.

  • Journal of Engineering Education
  • European Journal of Engineering Education
  • Australasian Journal of Engineering Education
  • Engineering Studies
  • IEEE Transactions in Education

2. Seminal papers (coming soon)

The database will grow by adding "seminal papers" (most commonly cited in literature). These are typically older and well-known in the field.
Would you like to recommend a seminal paper for inclusion in CLEER? You are welcome to do so using this form: Seminal papers CLEER.

3. Curated resources

Resources from educational journals and conferences have been added after curation, covering the last 10 years. See Curation Criteria.
